U13 Girls Steal the Show

All 3 FVH teams won medals at this years finals day with the U13G winning 2 Golds.

The U13 Girls took a clean sweep of medals for the indoors on Sunday. After winning the Superteams earlier in the year, the same 4 girls won the relay in some style. Earlier in the day the U13 Girls team won the sail final by a 1/2 point from Giffnock. The Girls won 3 of the events during the day and showed a great team spirit throughout, which was displayed in the relays at the end of a long long day.

With several girls at the schools training day in Pitreavie, the U17W battled to a bronze medal and only 7 pts behind the winners.

The 3rd team from FVH the U20 men were not to be out done. Although not in the original top 5 for the final (Dunbar dropped out) the guys put in a really strong spirited fight, coming out in 3rd place only 8 pts behind the winners.

So a good day by all. I would also like to thank the parents for their support, the coaches for producing good athletes and for the athletes for working so hard and taking away many PBs and medals during the Indoor League.
