Kinross 10 K

With Kinross a short stone throw away, a few harriers decided to pop along to compete in the flat 10K around a traffic free course, winding around stately grounds and the local golf course.

The course consisted of 1 short lap and 2 longer laps, with a number of turning points sending the runners back on themselves. This neat fast course was an ideal test of winter training. The many turns on the course certainly cost the runners some time, but the support and organisation could not be faltered. And with a selection of sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee at the school afterwards, for £5 this was certainly a bargain.

A great night was had, and this event will certainly be pencilled in for a return visit next year.
