THE GLEN LEDNOCK ROAD RACE

On what turned out to be a glorious day for running, two of us travelled to Comrie Perthshire for the Glen Lednock Road race after competing in its inaugural race the previous year, one just to run and the other to take the photo's and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
The course was the same as before with the main benefit was that there no surprises though the race was as difficult as remembered. There was the tough up-hill start of 1.5 miles then a levelling out to an undulating course, which was an out and back over a distance of 8.5 miles.
David produced his usual steady performance achieving a time marginally less than last year (64:18), acheiving fifth place in his category.
