Myra Perkins sets new records at Celtic games
In the under-18 women's match at the Celtic Games in Wales, Myra Perkins threw an awesome hammer PB of 56.83m to win the hammer event, setting both a Celtic Games record and Scottish Junior record.
This excellent individual performance earned Myra the 'Athlete of the Match' award.
This new Scottish under-20 record of 56.83m exceed the previous best held by Edinburgh AC's Susan McKelvie (55.28m).
This new national record places Myra fourth on the Scottish All-Time list.
