Falkirk Victoria Harriers

Two Harriers, Alex Watson and Kenny Collins took part in the Kirkintilloch 10K race an established fixture in the road race callendar.

Alex submited this short report of the race:

The complete day was littered with strong winds and rain, and the 10K held in Kirkintilloch proved to be no exception.
It was very strong into the head wind for the first 4 miles and then crosswinds for the remaining race. The wet underfoot conditions along the canal towpath added to the discomfort.
